Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/ M.Sc in Fashion Design Technology from any reputed university especially any foreign Institute.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Having Professional Certification will get extra preference
∎ Skills Required: CAD, clothing design, CorelDraw, Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, Pattern Designing

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fashion Designing, Garments Industry, Product Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Group of Companies

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in developing and designing Denim garments for US, European and UK-based customers.
∎ Must have good knowledge of Denim fabrics.
∎ Must have good knowledge of Denim dry and wet processes
∎ Selection of right quality fabrics suitable to meet Buyer / Brand Product needs.
∎ Effective and clear Product development and presentation to Senior management and Customers.
∎ Balance between creativity and pricing.
∎ Direct and coordinate sample section, embroidery, printing units and laundry teams to ensure samples are made well.
∎ Lead research & survey and collect sources of information in order to rework, evolve and advance ideas.
∎ Constant Market study & trend analysis.
∎ Must have good knowledge of washes, printing and embroidery techniques.
∎ Understand the different fabric qualities/ yarn/ measurements/ technical aspects of garment construction.
∎ Work with Product Development Team to improve the Garments Sample fit, better shape of pattern, samples & Grading.
∎ Develop/modify products to improve production efficiency and quality and liaise with those involved in the production process.
∎ Provide strong and consistent product direction and own the process of balancing the range to include the development of seasonal key looks, fashion items and essential pieces appropriate for individual customers.
∎ Provide trend analysis of colors, styles, and details utilizing different design sources & global trend research and meet up global trends, apparel, fabrics & graphic design and implementation.
∎ Introduce new customers while maintaining strong business relationships with the existing customers and adopt appropriate methods of researching, analyzing, and interpreting the behavior of different consumer groups.
∎ Build a strong team and constantly mentor them with an open-minded constant learning approach.
∎ Always maintain a cost-effective approach.

∎ Proven track record of taking ownership and driving business performance in the fashion industry through hands-on Approach.
∎ Good understanding of fabric and design requirements.
∎ Must be able to adhere to deadlines and have strong time management capability.
∎ Experience in Fashion and Product Design Software.
∎ Strong command over Pattern Making, Grading, Consumption and Size Specification.
∎ Able to Analyze feedback and data to judgment and solve problems.
∎ Interact with IE, Operations and QA teams for critical path, efficiency & Quality aspects.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla, Hindi & English languages
