Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in, Computer Science/ Computer Information System / Electrical & Electronic Engineering or other relevant field. Post graduate or Master’s degree will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ OBJECTIVE 1: Management, monitoring and maintenance of IT resources and Network Connectivity
∎ Overall maintenance and management of IT resources ensuring smooth functionality and operational support
∎ Monitoring the base antivirus protection, ensuring compliance with antivirus software usage guidelines; ensursoftware updates are deployed at individual workstations
∎ Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of other office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, scanner, telecom, and other communication.
∎ Proper maintenance and follow up equipment allocation and maintaining equipment & inventories records.
∎ Full fill the Mission ICT Standards as per ACF global standards.
∎ Provide monthly updated EQ list, update allocation documents, donation certificates and other necessary documentation for audit trails.
∎ Follow up and support to deploying new antivirus software (Bitdefender) to individual workstation and assign mission policy. Monitoring to individual workstation antivirus software license from the management portal.
∎ Supervising the data backup system (back-up policy)
∎ Installing and maintaining local area networks in the mission according to standards router, Wi-Fi AP, NAS server, internet modem).
∎ Capitalizing data and procedures related to the use of lT resources and networks and communicating this Information upstream to line management
∎ Individual and collaboration data backup, archiving in the different mediums(storages Network Attached Storage (NAS) and cloud ) and unused email accounts
∎ Phone fleet management update user fleet list and credit disbursement
∎ OBJECTIVE 2: IT User Management and Support, Troubleshooting and Reporting
∎ Ensure all mission IT users are equipped and providing users with software and technical support and training/ refreshment wherever necessary
∎ Provide continuous remote base support (Network, Internet connectivity, Mails, Maintenance of Equipment)
∎ Day to day support and troubleshooting software, hardware , network and telecom systems
∎ Maintain and ensure User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) management ( add/remove) and user configurations
∎ Provide IT support for smooth operations and troubleshooting.
∎ OBJECTIVE 3: Provide IT Technical Support and Services
∎ Provide IT fleet management (replenishment) and warranty support
∎ Coordinate with HQ in mission IT support and upgradation and develop IT fleet renewal/upgradation Strategy or Plan
∎ Closely follow-up and provide technical support annual budgets and assist ICT procurements
∎ Provide Telecommunication support (assigning new user and transferring) and phone fleet disbursement
∎ IT Hardware recycling and E-waste Management
∎ Installing and maintaining intranet and internet in the base according to organization standards.
∎ Monitoring base entire network equipment functionalities properly (server, switches, and router).
∎ Ensuring electrical/power management and electricity supply needs assessed and implemented as per HQ Energy standards.
∎ OBJECTIVE 4: Proactively support ACF’s commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Excellent knowledge of technical management, ICT, computer, hardware, software systems;
∎ Professional knowledge of Windows server, clients, and other applications.
∎ Good knowledge of network protocols, interconnection devices and transmission medium
∎ Good knowledge of lT equipment and maintenance; Good knowledge of system security and network security;
∎ Good understanding of data back-up strategies.
∎ Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues
∎ Ability to network connect computers and peripherals and share resources (printers and files).
∎ Excellent command of English (spoken and written
∎ Proactive with good analytical & problem solving capacity
∎ Capacity to work in stressful working environment with dedication and commitment
Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
