Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Executive - Operation to join our esteemed team.
∎ As the Senior Executive - Operation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our agency at Chittagong Port and Mongla Port. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless discharge operations of diverse vessels and upholding our reputation for excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in managing daily operations at Chittagong Port and Mongla Port.
∎ Support vessel discharge operations to ensure they run efficiently.
∎ Assist in the calculation of dispatch and demurrage charges for vessel operations.
∎ Collaborate with the Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders to monitor vessel turnaround times and minimize demurrage costs.
∎ Work closely with the operations team to implement strategies for reducing demurrage
∎ expenses and optimizing vessel schedules.
∎ Coordinate activities with shore-based shipping personnel, principals, and agents.
∎ Contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of our extensive network of agents
∎ throughout Bangladesh.
∎ Assist in the timely and accurate collection of Pre-Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) from the Principal or Shipowner.
∎ Assist in maintaining transparent financial records related to PDA and FDA transactions.
∎ Collaborate with the Operations Manager to serve as a liaison between Chattogram Shipping
∎ Agency and the Principal or Shipowner, fostering trust and transparency.
∎ Address inquiries, concerns, and requests from the Principal or Shipowner professionally and promptly.
∎ Contribute to our commitment to providing 24/7 service to meet and exceed client
∎ expectations.
∎ Support the implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
∎ Assist in monitoring and optimizing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 3 years experience in shipping agency operations.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work in a team, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
∎ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
∎ Proven experience in a role within the shipping agency or logistics industry is a plus.
∎ Effective communication skills in English.
∎ A basic understanding of shipping agency operations and port logistics.
∎ Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations is advantageous.
