MBA/Master’s degree from a recognized university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Banking; no third class/division in any academic record.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Investment, or Financial Operations in a bank or financial institution; candidates with a Probationary Officer background will be preferred.
Strong understanding of Government Securities, Money Market operations, Bangladesh Bank regulations, and BFIU compliance frameworks.
Hands-on experience in documentation, automation, and CBS integration, especially for Treasury and Compliance modules.
Proficient in financial reporting, portfolio management, and regulatory submission processes.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, software, Core Banking Treasury modules and VAR Analysis.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities, with capacity to work independently under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
Settlement of all money market and securities transactions.
Administering Forex Market transactions and processes.
Executing deal input, verification, and settlement in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensuring the precision and punctuality of all Back Office reports and MIS submissions.
Conducting reconciliation of local books and Nostro accounts.
Preparing and monitoring daily foreign exchange position.
Carrying out revaluation of foreign exchange exposures.
Calculating and ensuring compliance with daily statutory maintenance requirements.
Managing the revaluation and amortization processes for HFT and HTM securities.
Supporting and facilitating client-related Bangladesh Government Securities transactions.
Holding overall responsibility for the efficient functioning of Treasury Back Office activities.
