Education:
- Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
Diploma in Materials Management / Inventory Control is preferred.

6–8 years of experience in materials/store/inventory management in a manufacturing setup.
Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
Working knowledge of ERP software (SAP/MM, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Familiarity with ISO, 5S, Kaizen, and other quality standards.
Good communication and coordination skills with inter-departmental teams. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities & Context:
Coordinate with purchase teams for the timely procurement of required materials
Monitor stock levels of raw materials, consumables, and packaging
Ensure accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issuance, and documentation of materials
Maintain updated stock records in ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)
Proper inventory management
Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend action
Minimize material shortages and excess through proper demand planning
Coordinate with production and planning departments for timely requirement updates
Assist in preparing material requirement plans based on production forecasts/plans
Coordinate with logistics/transport for timely inward and outward material movement
Implement 5S and housekeeping practices in the store and warehouse areas
Ensure materials are stored as per FIFO/FEFO principles and safety guidelines
Ensure proper documentation for all material transactions (MRN, SRN, issue slips, etc.)
Comply with internal and external audit requirements and company policies
Supervise storekeepers, forklift operators, and labors/helpers
Train junior staff on best practices in material handling and safety
As per the assigned job by the supervisor
