• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Sound knowledge of finishing chemicals, recipes, and wet processing techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret lab dips, shade standards, and finishing specifications.

• Familiarity with common finishing machines (stenter, compactor, sanforizing, etc.).

• Knowledge of pH testing, absorbency testing, and fabric quality evaluation.

• Good leadership and team management skills.

• Conduct daily observation of overall shift performance.

• Follow buyer requirements and execute all processes in accordance with department-established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Communicate with the Assistant Manager / Manager for confirmation of chemicals prior to use.

• Review the daily production report and take necessary steps accordingly.

• Provide machine-wise recipes as per the production program and follow up on urgent orders.

• Perform recipe adjustments when required and ensure the output matches the established standard quality.

• Check the pH of the recipe after chemical solution preparation and verify fabric pH at appropriate stages.

• Check fabric absorbency, hand feel, recovery, shade, and other quality parameters of finished fabric during the process.

• Ensure daily housekeeping of the working area and machines.

• Ensure work achievement, discipline, and a proper working environment among all shift personnel.

• In the event of any machine difficulty, inform the concerned maintenance team immediately and report to the concerned authority.
