∎ Master degree in any discipline
∎ Training/Trade Course: Labour Law and Rules, Certificate Course in Social Compliance, ISO, Fire and HR
∎ Skills Required: Building Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire safety, HACCP, ISO 9001, Labor Law
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure Social/Ethical and Food Standards are being maintained and followed in accordance with local & international industry guidelines and standards.
∎ Have through knowledge on Bangladesh Labour Law-2006 & Bangladesh Labour Rule 2015 and as amended up to 2018.
∎ The ability to work in an environment where there is an opportunity of being useful by means of self-assessment and self-improvement in both individual and group based work that will ultimately lead the future development of the organization.
∎ To ensure to develop and maintain formulation of rules, regulations, policies, procedures regarding the company's admin, Compliance and other related issues. Must have the ability to take proper initiative to implement the policies, procedures, rules & regulations in respect of local labour law and buyer's code of conduct.
∎ Must have knowledge of updated Compliance matrix and follow checklist for food industry guidelines.
∎ Ensure the factories always prepared/ ready for following audit like, Social Compliance audit, Food safety Mgt. system, Security system, Night visit inspection, Fire safety, Building safety, Electrical Safety, ISO- 9001,22000.
∎ Monitor Compliance certifications like ISO- 22000, 9001, 14001, SEDEX etc. and able to face there different audits with requirements.
∎ Ensure Compliance on Health & Safety as per in house checklist.
∎ Ensure Compliance related MIS are properly maintain & update.
∎ Follow up/ take instant corrective action on auditors certain minor findings/ discrepancies during audit.
∎ Follow up that all corrective action has been taken and follow up regularly as per CAP submitted.
∎ Take proper & immediate steps to improve factory conditions those will get object of non-compliance from internal & buyers and take all possible steps to adhere with buyers and internal compliance inspection.
∎ Communicate with compliance auditors, Fire & Civil defense department, Labour office, Labour court, Police station, Local influences and Labour Federation etc.
∎ Handle all kinds of protocol related works.
∎ Any other assignment as per the decision of management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Analytical and well organized
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Very knowledgeable in reporting procedure
∎ In depth knowledge of food manufacturing industry standard and regulation
∎ Good knowledge in Labour Law, Fire, Building & Electrical Safety, ISO 9001, 22000, HACCP, CGMP
∎ Able to work independently and under pressure
∎ Should be self-driven, result oriented, hard working
∎ High level of professional integrity
