Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years practical work experience at any industry in fire system.
∎ Able to operate fire apparatus, fire pump, and other equipment in a safe and effective manner;
∎ Good knowledge in Auto CAD 2D and 3D;
∎ Good knowledge in BNBC, Fire code of conduct, Fire pump, Fire safety, Fire hydrant etc.;
∎ Strong analytical and communication ability;
∎ Good command in Bengali and English;
∎ Able to work independently and under pressure;
∎ Should be self-driven, result oriented, hard working;
∎ High level of professional integrity.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
∎ Ensure & implement factory compliance requirements as per BLA-2006 & BLR-2015 and other statutory requirements.
∎ Oversee the regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection and protection systems to ensure they are in proper working order.
∎ Develop and implement emergency response plans in case of fire incidents, including coordinating with emergency services and conducting drills to ensure preparedness
∎ Conduct risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend measures to mitigate risks and improve overall fire safety.
∎ Ensure the implementation of fire drills, evacuation drills, mock drills, etc.
∎ Ensure that production floor is obstacle free, floor is marked properly, floor facilities as per compliance standard and good housekeeping is maintained.
∎ Identify non-compliance issues through daily monitoring & internal audits in the factory including OHS, Boiler, Oven, Electrical, Accident investigation and root cause analysis.
