Job Responsibilities:
∎ RF Planning guy is responsible for the design and planning of Wi-Fi broadband networks as per RFI/RFP/Sales team requirements. Shall have adequate experience in Wi-Fi Network planning
∎ Shall have working experience of different Wifi radio equipment (point to multipoint radio, point to point radio and access points)
∎ Shall have working experience of configuring Wifi equipment through WLC
∎ Model and coverage tuning and should be able to generate simulations with different iterations and give best recommendations.
∎ RF coverage evaluation and selection of AP as per guidelines to meet the site coverage objectives.
∎ Responsibilities include system dimensioning for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis and coverage predictions, site identification, evaluation, and Tuning.
∎ Network performance analysis through OSS/drive test/crowd sourced data and optimization to improve network quality (Wi-Fi) and customer experience
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to team in all aspects of radio network w.r.t AP's, P2MP and P2P radios.
∎ Perform in-depth analysis of performance E2E KPIs. Propose technology actions to improve performance.
∎ Supports new site rollout to achieve monthly target smoothly by driving database audit, SCFT audit, Performance monitoring.
∎ Implementation and acceptance testing of new node/features in co-ordination with partners, cross functional teams.
∎ Ensure utilization monitoring and timely optimization/deployment of radio network capacity, license capacity, spectrum, and Transmission BW upgrade etc.
∎ Deriving insights from Customer complaints analysis and recommend corrective actions.
∎ Optimizing designed Wi-Fi network and provide mitigation plans to project and implementation team.
∎ Participate in strategies to overcome challenging Wi-Fi environments and provide creative ideas\solutions that exceed customer expectations.
∎ Provide a roadmap for enhancing coverage accuracy through continuous improvement of input data, including clutter, propagation model, tuning, usage of high-resolution data and crowd source data.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Wifi working experience of 5-7 years
