Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze and configuration of corporate systems to improve its security
∎ Investigate with available tools and take proper standard countermeasures to remedy the detected Vulnerabilities, and recommends solutions and best practices.
∎ Analyze and assess damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents
∎ Examines available recovery tools and processes, and recommends solutions.
∎ Look for system vulnerabilities and recommend methods to fix them
∎ Monitoring data behavior for abnormal behavioral activities
∎ Verifying security, availability, and confidentiality of corporate data
∎ Research and stay informed of potential information security threats, industry trends, emerging technologies, and response alternatives and map to existing device configuration with remediation roadmap
∎ Assess, monitor, and assist with recommended improvements to security procedures for user access creation, modification, and removal.
∎ Assist with approval, tracking and reporting any security exceptions as the need arises.
∎ Prepare status reports on security matters to analyze security risk and response of security controls.
∎ Assist for security improvements, tool & techniques.
∎ Provide insight on the deployment of security technology solutions, which may include technology for encryption, firewalls, authorization, authentication, intrusion detection, and gateway security controls.
∎ Work in application development or acquisition projects to assess security requirements and controls to ensure that security controls are implemented as planned.
∎ Participate in the assessment of potential threats and risks to systems and management of those risks.
∎ Participate in the design, development, and delivery of security training programs and individual classes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of technological trends and developments in technology relating to security and risk management and associated frameworks.
∎ Strong understanding of information security controls, risks and threats.
∎ Understanding of and experience with network protocols including switches, routers and routing technologies.
∎ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows and Linux Server environments, Virtual Servers, Kubernetes, Docker and other enterprise-wide applications.
∎ Strong knowledge of enterprise security technologies, e.g., Virtual Private Network (VPN), Encryption, NGFW, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and Anti-Virus.
∎ Knowledge of information security standard frameworks, data privacy laws, Bangladesh Bank’s guidelines etc.
∎ Knowledge of information security audit and assessment methodologies, policies, standards, procedures and best practices.
∎ In-depth knowledge of operations of at least one enterprise SIEM, FIM platform.
∎ Proven knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies and rectification of security loopholes.
∎ Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
∎ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations.
∎ Ability to make technical decisions with limited resources and precedence.
∎ Strong document development, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
∎ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
∎ Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information.
