Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing the economic activities of the country in the light of major policy/regulatory guidelines of the government as well as important regional and global activities/events which are likely to have significant impact on our economic activities.
∎ Preparing investment universe through specific Sectors (by rotation) and Companies (within Sectors) Conducting equity brief / analysis on companies having strong growth projections, having grasp on underlying assumptions.
∎ Updating investment supervisor / Managing Director any fundamental or regulatory changes.
∎ Delivering investment recommendation to investment committee to make decision relating to the investment portfolios.
∎ Preparing internal strategy and trade updates weekly and updating them as and when changes are required ad - hoc.
∎ Any other relevant job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years' minimum experience in capital markets in Dhaka working in another merchant bank / asset management company / brokerage, (additional experience overseas or in other sectors, if relevant, welcome.)
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing.
∎ Fluency in English required.
∎ Knowledge of research basis, not necessarily as an analyst, is required.
