Oxford International School (OIS) is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in security, possess a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches, and be at least 30 years old. The Security Officer will ensure a safe and secure environment across our school campuses in Dhanmondi, Gulshan, and Uttara.

Trainings required:

• Basic security training

• First aid and CPR certification

• Fire safety training

• Conflict resolution and communication skills

• Physical fitness training

• Use of security technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all school activities.

• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work across multiple campuses (Dhanmondi/Gulshan/Uttara).

• Ensure physical fitness and capability to stand for long periods.

• Perform 8-12 hour shifts, including rotational duties.

• Interact courteously with parents, students, and visitors.

• Oversee overall school security and maintain a safe environment.

• Manage traffic and parking during entry and exit times, using both verbal communication and hand signals.

• Assist students and visitors in safely crossing roads.

• Conduct patrols and guard duties to protect school property.

• Properly utilize gate passes and register all incoming and outgoing materials as per school policy.

• Remain vigilant and report any security breaches to the Supervisor or Administrative Officer.

• Carry out tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Management, ensuring the safety and security of the school.
