Responsibilities & Context:

The Executive – Security is responsible for supporting the Security Department in ensuring safe and secure airline operations through security monitoring, inspections, surveillance, regulatory compliance, and administrative coordination. The incumbent will work on a roster basis and coordinate with internal departments and regulatory authorities to maintain aviation security standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor security operations inside the airport ramp area and ensure compliance with security procedures on a roster basis.

  2. Conduct shift-wise flight observations, arrival flight surveillance, and prepare comprehensive ground security reports.

  3. Inspect duty posts regularly to identify security lapses, misconduct, or suspicious activities and submit incident reports.

  4. Supervise mobile patrols, vehicle inspections, baggage handling, and other security operations within Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA).

  5. Conduct inspections of external security posts and report security violations involving personnel across all departments.

  6. Coordinate with internal intelligence teams to strengthen aviation security and operational effectiveness.

  7. Complete all formalities and maintain liaison with the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) for Airport Security Passes, Apron Driving Passes, Duty Passes, and Vehicle Apron Passes.

  8. Maintain inventory records and ensure timely issuance and renewal of airport passes for employees and vehicles.

  9. Monitor leave and attendance of security personnel and manage duty rosters through the HRIS.

  10. Perform departmental administrative functions, including preparing bills, vouchers, fund requisitions, account adjustments, meal requisitions, and uniform requisitions.

  11. Coordinate departmental programs, including Security Week, training schedules, and other security-related activities.

  12. Identify training needs of security personnel through regular inspections and performance observations.

  13. Support internal audits, IOSA audits, and other compliance activities in coordination with the Security Management.

  14. Perform duty as per the assigned roster and undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
