Responsibilities & Context:
  • Conducting classes for Early Years learners, including providing foundational awareness of the CAIE framework where relevant for lower primary levels. 

  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans to think outside of the box, to create session outlines, and classroom activities tailored to the developmental stages of children from Play Group to Class 2.

  • Design creative worksheets, storytelling sessions, interactive games, and hands-on activities that support tactile learning through play and exploration.

  • Regularly assess and monitor students’ progress, focusing on their cognitive development, motor skills, communication abilities, and social-emotional growth.

  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.

  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student development, classroom events, and academic progress.

  • Contribute to the overall curriculum planning and development in collaboration with colleagues and school leadership.

  • Actively participate in school events, festivals, and co-curricular activities to enhance students’ holistic development.

  • Provide individual attention and support to students who require additional help, ensuring a child-centered learning approach.

  • Support students in creating simple academic portfolios or progress folders in line with school guidelines.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by section coordinators or school management.
