Responsibilities & Context:

1. Market Expansion & Dealer Sourcing

 

·         Identify potential new dealers/distributors for dairy product distribution.

 

·         Negotiate trade terms and ensure onboarding of new dealers as per company policy.

 

·         Evaluate dealer performance (sales, coverage, delivery capacity, and credit handling).

 

·         Maintain proper documentation and coordinate with Accounts/Commercial teams for dealer setup.

 

2. Sales & Distribution

 

·         Achieve monthly primary and secondary sales targets through effective dealer and retail management.

 

·         Ensure product availability and freshness across GT channels.

 

·         Plan route visits and ensure daily coverage of assigned markets and outlets.

 

·         Monitor stock levels at dealer points to ensure zero stock-out situations.

 

3. Market Execution & Visibility

 

·         Ensure all SKUs are properly displayed in stores and cold-chain standards are maintained (for chilled dairy).

 

·         Execute trade promotions, POSM placement, and merchandising as per guidelines.

 

·         Collect market feedback on pricing, competitor activity, and customer trends.

 

4. Relationship & Collection Management

 

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and dealers.

 

·         Ensure timely collection of payments from dealers/retailers as per company credit policy.

 

·         Resolve trade issues and ensure dealer satisfaction for long-term partnerships.

 

5. Reporting & Coordination

 

·         Maintain daily visit reports, order details, and competitor information.

 

·         Submit dealer performance and territory sales reports to the Area Manager.

 

·         Coordinate closely with logistics and marketing teams for smooth market operation.
