Responsibilities & Context:

1. Sales & Distribution Management

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for dairy categories (milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, etc.).

  • Develop and execute area-wise sales plans and route-to-market strategies.

  • Ensure proper coverage, visibility, and availability across retail and wholesale channels.

  • Monitor and analyze primary & secondary sales data to track performance and growth.

  • Identify and appoint new distributors/dealers where needed.

2. Dealer & Retail Network Management

  • Create , Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key retailers.

  • Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, order frequency, and collection efficiency.

  • Resolve trade conflicts, pricing discrepancies, and product complaints promptly.

  • Conduct periodic business reviews with dealers to align growth targets.

3. Trade Marketing & Promotion

  • Plan and execute trade promotions, retailer schemes, and visibility programs.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for point-of-sale materials (POSM), branding, and activation.

  • Measure promotion effectiveness and ensure on-ground implementation within budget.

  • Track competition activity and share trade insights for corrective action.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor pricing, launches, and promotional activities.

  • Collect trade feedback and market insights for category and brand strategy input.

  • Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.

  • Maintain customer and outlet databases (GT channel).

5. Team Management & Development

  • Lead and guide Territory Officers/Sales Representatives to ensure sales discipline and performance.

  • Conduct on-job training and joint market visits to improve team capability.

  • Support HR and Sales Head in performance evaluation and recruitment.
