Responsibilities & Context:

1. Sales Order & Operation Management

  • Oversee and process all distributor, dealer, and modern trade orders in the ERP system.

  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth order fulfillment and billing.

  • Maintain an up-to-date record of product stock, pending orders, and delivery timelines.

  • Monitor sales return documentation and ensure compliance with company policy.

2. Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports (target vs. achievement, SKU-wise, region-wise).

  • Analyze sales trends, distributor performance, and inventory movement to support decision-making.

  • Support management with periodic MIS, performance dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical reports.

  • Validate and reconcile data between sales, finance, and system records to ensure accuracy.

3. Trade Promotion & Claim Handling

  • Record, verify, and process trade promotions, dealer incentives, and display claims.

  • Track claim status and coordinate with the finance department for settlement.

  • Maintain a transparent database for all schemes, discounts, and promotional expenses.

  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and documentation standards.

4. Sales Team Coordination & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact between sales field team, distributors, marketing, and finance.

  • Communicate new schemes, price changes, and product launches to field teams.

  • Provide administrative support for regional sales reviews, target tracking, and performance analysis.

  • Assist in onboarding and training of new sales representatives on reporting and documentation processes.

5. System & Process Management

  • Maintain distributor and customer master data in ERP or CRM platforms.

  • Ensure accurate entry of sales invoices, credit limits, and payment terms.

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of sales automation systems and dashboards.
