Preferred (Plus) Qualifications

• Experience on civil works for 132/33 kV substations — supervision or construction (foundations, control buildings, equipment plinths, cable trenches, fencing).

• Experience on 132 kV / 33 kV transmission line civil works — supervision or construction (tower foundations, access roads, route survey support).

• Working knowledge of geotechnical investigation reports and embankment design for low-lying / char-land sites comparable to Madarganj.

• Prior assignment on a donor-funded or IPP project under Owner's Engineer / Lender's Engineer scope.

• IEB membership.

About the Assignment

Atlanta Enterprise Limited (AEL) is providing construction supervision and commissioning support services to Rural Power Company Limited (RPCL) for the 100 MW Solar Power Plant at Madarganj, Jamalpur District. We are recruiting a Resident Civil Engineer to be deployed full-time at the project site during the remaining civil construction and balance-of-plant works.

Role Summary

The Resident Civil Engineer will represent the Owner's Engineer team on site for all civil and structural works, supervising the EPC Contractor's construction activities and reporting to AEL's senior civil specialist and the Team Leader.

Engagement

• Location: Resident at project site (Madarganj, Jamalpur). Site accommodation arrangement to be discussed at offer stage.

• Duration: Full-time, site-based, until commissioning and COD of the plant.

• Reports to: Senior Civil Specialist / Team Leader, AEL.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day site supervision of land development, embankment, internal and external road works, drainage, boundary wall, dormitory / office / guest house / Ansar barrack / workshop & warehouse construction, fire-fighting system, panel cleaning system, and all general civil works of the power plant.

Supervision of PV mounting structure foundations, inverter and transformer plinths, control building civil works, and substation civil works.

Verify quality of materials, workmanship, and compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable national / international codes; witness sampling and laboratory testing.

Monitor progress against the approved schedule; raise Non-Compliance Reports for defective works; maintain inspection records.

Prepare Preliminary Punch Lists and Punch Lists; verify rectification before signoff.

Liaise with the Contractor, RPCL site team, and AEL/AFRY senior experts; attend site meetings and prepare daily/weekly site reports.

Support the issuance of PAC and final completion documentation.
