• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and presentation skills. Team collaboration and adaptability.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with working knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, and data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau preferred.

• Moderate-level expertise in Financial Modeling.

• Strong ability to prepare attractive presentation decks.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.

Job Context

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong research and analytics skills to join its Group Research & Development (GR&D) Department. The role requires expertise in banking and marketing research, with exposure to equity research considered an added advantage. The ideal candidate will contribute to building robust business analytics platforms, supporting data-driven decision-making, and providing insights for strategic management.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business analytics platform capable of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support strategic decision-making across R&D and SBUs.

• Collect, organize, and manage quantitative and qualitative data from multiple online and offline sources.

• Create, administer, and maintain secure databases for organizational use.

• Disseminate relevant data and reports within and outside the department as required.

• Conduct statistical analysis using both historical datasets and primary survey-based data.

• Build and maintain a dynamic reporting infrastructure to support management decisions.

• Provide analytical insights for cross-selling opportunities, customer portfolio optimization, credit risk and delinquency control, and cost reduction.

• Support management in business financing and risk forecasting.

• Contribute to various intellectual publications of the Bank.

• Carry out other research studies aligned with the core objectives of the GR&D.
