∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will be placed within BRAC's Social Innovation Lab (SIL) which is a centralised function leading the innovation-related efforts for BRAC. The incumbent is expected to partner with and cater research as a service to BRAC programmes and functional teams on their respective innovation efforts, in addition to innovation efforts under SIL's mandate.
∎ The Research Specialist is responsible for designing creative and rapid research/evaluation frameworks for the SIL internal teams, BRAC programmes, and partners. The incumbent will also be responsible for executing or overseeing the execution of the designed research and evaluation frameworks. S/he will be responsible for analysing and visualizing data and creating bite-size knowledge pieces, as per the requirements of the clients. In addition, the specialist will be encouraged to look for research and partnership opportunities that promote data-driven solution designing.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years of experience in the local or international corporate or development sector, preferably in research design, knowledge management, partnership development and communications.
