∎ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) / Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist / Internationally recognized Trade Certification like GTC, CTFP, CDCS

Job Context:
∎

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing and maintaining FI business relationships.
∎ Preparation of Business & Marketing plan based on competitive strategies & management guidelines.
∎ Marketing of Nostro Accounts, structuring of Foreign Trade Transactions & Risk Participation transactions.
∎ Enhancement of Fee Based income via selling of Correspondent Banking Non Credit products to diversify revenue channels.
∎ Designated contact point for the resolution of relationships operational issues and Customer queries in Bangladesh.
∎ Customizing of correspondent Banking products according to client needs & Head Office guidelines.
∎ Market Guarantee business for issuance of Guarantees at NBP Network against Counter Guarantees of other banks.
∎ Arrange Market Risk Participation Agreements (MRPA) with different Financial Institutions.
∎ Ensuring complete AML / KYC / Due diligence is carried out before establishment of any correspondent relationship.
∎ Responsible for handling & responding all AML / KYC queries received from Correspondent Banks.
∎ Actively originate new business and grow the bank by capitalizing on bank's competitive attributes eg Network, Transaction Banking etc.
∎ Meeting with representatives of different banks and overseeing the account relationships.
∎ Maximize the profitable revenue to the Bank while maintaining focus on client outcomes, strengthening and deepening existing relationships.
∎ Effective Correspondence with Domestic & Foreign Banks.
∎ Management of Nostro / Vostro / Correspondent relationships
∎ Liaison with internal & external stakeholders
∎ Work in coordination with Bangladesh Office Trade Department and provide them resolution in accordance with latest UCP standards / global trade practices.
∎ Analyze banks on their Financial strength and recommending FI Limits & credit lines to FID - Head Office based on the business requirements.
∎ Ensure all sales disciplines are adhered in accordance with FI standards i.e. Account Planning, Call Reports, Deal Pipeline Management, etc
∎ Seek Credit Limits for Bangladesh Office from domestic Financial Institutions
∎ Work in close coordination with FID - HO to implement the Bank's strategic decision

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 12 years' experience preferably in a Bank / Financial Institution out of which at least 08 years experience in the financial Institutions / transactions banking.
∎ In-depth understanding of Trade Finance products and sound understanding of the broad range of Transaction Banking products.
∎ Sound knowledge of UCP-600 and URR-725
∎ Broad knowledge of the Correspondent Banking AML/KYC
∎ Must be proficient in use of MS Office
∎ Strong English communication and writing skills
