Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree in any discipline (preferably in Agriculture Studies) from a well reputed Public or Private University of the country or from abroad.
∎ Skills Required: Agriculture/ Forestry, Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Seed Production Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Agriculture, agro based farm, Crop protection, Farm Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Farming
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the overall operations of regional office and leading the field of North Bengal operations
∎ Managing contract growing program and leading the sourcing team in North Bengal.
∎ Maintaining liaison with the different stakeholders like farmers, trader and input companies
∎ Developing and keeping financial records and periodically report to head office and production records
∎ Providing feedback and input from the market to help shape the procurement and production strategy
∎ Continuously looking for ways to improve the field activity in a proactive manner.
∎ Organising meetings with the farmers and following up farm activities and reporting to the head office
∎ Assigning territories, schedules, and appropriate supplies and equipment to staff members
∎ Travelling to customer sites and evaluating Field Representatives
∎ Generating reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each field officer
∎ Providing guideline to field officers to ensure they can perform their duties effectively
∎ Maintaining all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring field officers adhere to the rules
∎ Responding to all on-call tasks and supporting the field officer under your supervision
∎ Scheduling maintenance and repair for fleet vehicles that adheres to the fleet vehicle care budget
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Extensive knowledge in farm based agriculture, seeds and crop production, harvesting, poultry and dairy farming will be given preference
Salary: Tk. 60000 - 70000 (Monthly)
