Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Development, Education, IT, Journalism, Communications or other relevant discipline is required.

∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Dhaka (The consultant will be required to travel to Cox`s Bazar and other districts as per the programmatic needs). On need basis consultant will work from UN agency`s Bangladesh Country Office or home or partner office.
∎ Contract Duration: 12 Months
∎ Contract Type: Individual Consultant
∎ Contract Timing: The consultancy will begin from 1 July 2020
∎ Reporting to: Innovation Specialist
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 3 years of experience in programme management and information management. Experience in an international organization is a plus.
∎ Professional experience in social programme development, planning, management and/or monitoring is required, preferably at the international level.
∎ Relevant experience working with government ministries, national/local institutions, civil society organizations including youth /adolescent organizations and UN Organizations in various areas of program/project development and management
∎ Experience in establishing, deploying and/or scaling up RapidPro is a must. Other data collection tools like ONA, KOBO and data visualization software is a plus.
∎ A strong understanding of UN agency 's mission and vision as well as its programmes through direct or indirect work experience with UN agency.
∎ Strong writing and communication skills and the aptitude to handle competing messages and priorities with multiple audiences.
∎ Proven capacity to work with and lead collaborative teams across different locations and with different technical skills.
∎ Oral and written proficiency in English and Bangla is required. Any Bangla local language is an asset.
Salary:
∎ Consultant will get between BDT 120,000 - BDT 160,000 per month consolidated including travel costs and insurance.Other cost communication equipment, PC etc. are to be borne by the consultant.Stationary and other office equipment, will be borne by the ConsultantTravel cost and travel arrangement in the field, will be borne by the consultantTax will be deducted at source as per Govt. regulations.
