• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or Animal Nutrition

At least B.Sc in Chemistry or Animal Nutrition from a reputed university.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Fisheries, Farming, Livestock, Animal/Plant Breeding, Dairy

• Age At least 23 years
• Only Male

Proficiency in NIR technology and modern laboratory analytical methods.

Advanced reporting skills and computer literacy (Especially MS Excel).

Job Context

We are seeking a visionary and technically sound leader to head our Quality Control department. This role is responsible for the end-to-end quality of the plant, driving product innovation, and ensuring strict compliance with national and international food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lab Analysis: Conduct chemical analysis (Wet Analysis) of raw materials and finished products.

• NIR Operation: Operate and maintain the NIR machine for rapid nutritional testing.

• Floor Monitoring: Supervise the production floor to check pellet quality, moisture levels, and durability (PDI).

• Sample Preparation: Collect and prepare samples from various production stages for testing.

• Standardization: Prepare and review SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), specifications, and methods for all materials and goods.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate logbooks and records of all analytical and floor activities.

• Equipment Care: Ensure laboratory tools and floor testing equipment are clean and well-maintained.

• Compliance: Follow safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.

• Reporting: Report all findings and daily progress to the Lab In-Charge.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with senior management on quality improvement initiatives.

• Process Oversight: Monitor the production floor to ensure feed manufacturing meets all physical and nutritional specifications.
