Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1.    Guide the Quality Checkers by providing them clear & accurate instructions to maintain customer quality standards.
∎ 2.    Prepare in advance Quality Control guide lines, listing out the types of defects to be looked into in respect of standard operations & adjust the guide lines with the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager to satisfy the decisions taken at the pre production planning meetings.
∎ 3.    Ensure the accuracy of trims issued by the stores (thread, zippers, buttons, labels etc) with trim card.
∎ 4.    Assistance for the daily preparation of reports which includes details of measurements, daily finished garments, garments to be finally checked, & garments sent to finishing department etc.
∎ 5.    Responsible for maintaining the accepted quality level, while evaluating the quality status of the garment.
∎ 6.    Defects found during the inline audit to be noted in the audit report & quality measurement report & forward these reports to Assistant Quality Assurance Manager on time to take necessary actions.
∎ 7.    Coordinate with Quality Auditors, In-Line and Final Quality Checkers, Production Executives, Production Supervisors & relevant personnel to resolve day to day Quality Issues & take necessary actions corrective & preventive actions on Quality issues.
∎ 8.    Manage & control the End line – Inline quality checkers to minimize re-work percentage.
∎ 9.    Guide In-Line Quality checkers to sort out the good garments (Accordance with customer quality standards) out of sewn garments & hand over the damaged garments back to the relevant operator for repairs.
∎ 10.  Maintain the accurate data, statistics of the sewn garments & continuously update & forward to relevant parties when ever necessary.
∎ 11.  You are responsible for gather and present accurate data on.
∎ 12.  Status of the quality during the past month.
∎ 13.  How to identify & clear up bottle necks in advance
∎ 14.  Rejects quantity & percentage15.  Methods to reduce the reject percentage.
∎ 16.  Ensure to meet the deliveries on time
∎ 17.  Supporting the proper functioning of the SPC System.
∎ 18.  Train & develop the subordinates to improve their performances, hidden talents & strengths & also develop backups to cover absenteeism.
∎ 19.  Ensure that the department area and the surrounding are maintained to the required standards of the organization.
∎ 20.  To ensure that your unit is managed as per the company manuals and any other instructions given by superiors.
∎ 21.  Be a part of the team to build the factory to the national level standards to achieve National Awards for Productivity, Quality, Health, & Safety & 5S22.
