Responsibilities & Context:
- Lead the overall quality assurance and control activities in the woven tops production unit.
- Ensure all quality standards are met as per buyer requirements and specifications like C&A, H&M etc
- Monitor in-line, end-line, and final inspection processes to ensure defect-free production.
- Analyze quality issues and take immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Supervise and guide quality control teams, including QC inspectors, auditors, and supervisors.
- Provide regular training to high-quality staff to enhance their technical skills and awareness.
- Attend pre-production meetings and ensure all quality-related aspects are clarified and implemented.
- Communicate with buyers’ QA representatives and manage their inspections and feedback.
- Maintain proper documentation of all quality inspections, audits, and reports.
- Work closely with production, merchandising, and planning departments to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and quality complaints.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs and quality systems on the production floor.
- Prepare the factory for internal, buyer, and third-party quality audits.
- Take proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality consistency.
