Responsibilities & Context:
- Source fabrics (knit, woven, denim) and trims & accessories (thread, zippers, buttons, elastic, labels, hangtags, cartons, poly bags, etc.) as per buyer requirements.
- Purchase printing chemicals, inks, pigments, emulsions, screens, and maintain consumables & spare parts for printing machines.
- Arrange embroidery threads, bobbins, backing, topping film, needles, oils, lubricants, and spare parts for embroidery machines.
- Purchase washing chemicals (enzymes, bleaching agents, softeners, stones, PP, neutralizers, resins, silicones, auxiliaries) and spare parts for washing machines, dryers, boilers, and WTP.
- Source spare parts for sewing, cutting, finishing, ironing, compressors, generators, and other machinery.
- Procure lubricants, tools, safety gear, and consumables.
- Develop & manage suppliers (local & international), negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate with store & production for forecasting, and ensure cost control with minimal wastage.
