Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: 31st March, 2022 (With high possibility of extension).
∎ Start Date: As soon as possible.
∎ Provide awareness raising session at community level, training to stakeholders, direct psychological and psychosocial support to the beneficiaries, produce regular reports on activities, assessments and follow-up, monitoring Psychosocial Workers and Psychosocial Assistants, and providing supervision, hand-holding support to their cases regularly
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Respond to the identified beneficiary needs by providing direct psychological support and refer internally and/or externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the rights of the beneficiary
∎ Respond ethically and sensibly to identified and referred beneficiaries for further psychological assessment through intake interview, observation, and assessment of beneficiary context
∎ Identify psychological, emotional and behavioral difficulties; diagnose; develop action plan and provide psychological and psychosocial support at individual, group and family level
∎ Refer beneficiaries with specific needs for specialized psychological support to internal clinical or external services and follow-up of all referrals, in coordination with your line manager, following the appropriate strategy of the project
∎ Complete informed consent and orientation formalities; visit and discuss with beneficiaries before referring and ensuring mediation if needed with other stakeholders
∎ Participate to mediation between beneficiaries and families or between families and other service providers
∎ Organize and implement more specific psychosocial support activities through different methods including mediation activities, creative or recreational activities, group discussions, focused interaction groups, etc.
∎ Participate to the discussions and decision-making in the frame of case management meetings
∎ Write specific reports and clinical course of case progress and present it to the group of psychologists and supervisors for optimal learning and case management
∎ Write technical advices/prescriptive ways on referral forms to send to external agencies
∎ Objective 2: Participate in the implementation of the MHPSS&P project adhering to Gender Equality and Humanitarian Protection Principles, ethical code of conduct and ACF Charter of Principles
∎ Ensure the psychological and psycho-social follow-up of the beneficiaries, keeping up with gender sensitivity and humanitarian protection principles;
∎ Guarantee the follow-up of defined objectives, beneficiary data compilation as required by operational projects;
∎ Organize and conduct trainings on technical topics decided by the programme, adhere to activity guidelines/standard protocols, and provider supervisory supports and hand-hold training to Psychosocial Workers and Psychosocial Assistants
∎ Contribute to the mapping of relevant actors (referral network) and set up of referral systems to other available services
∎ Objective 3: To conduct specific psychosocial group activities (adapted and appropriate to each beneficiary’s specific needs and capacities
∎ Conduct peer-to-peer support groups, focus group discussions with individuals, families and communities
∎ Conduct support groups addressing specific vulnerabilities such as disabilities, isolated/discriminated people, survivors of gender-based violence, etc.
∎ When needed/possible, work with the partners and volunteers to create and implement psycho-social activities in the centres and at community level including health education and awareness sessions
∎ Ensure a qualitative follow up of the beneficiaries participating to group activities.
∎ Reporting of activities and evolution of the beneficiaries’ psychosocial situation.
∎ Objective 4: To produce regular reports on activities, assessments, follow-up and other related documents to ensure the quality and reporting of the project
∎ Generate appropriate activity progress reports on a weekly/monthly basis about activities planned and implemented
∎ Analyze the data and reinforce beneficiary’s progress on psychosocial/psychological status
∎ Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, follow up form, group activity reporting tool, discharge form which includes the final assessment of the beneficiary’s psychosocial status) and system in place
∎ Any other reports, case management records and case studies to be made upon line manager’s request
∎ Adhere to ACF data protection and information management policies with absolute confidentiality regarding beneficiary status and personal information records
∎ Timely share project challenges and progresses with respective line managers
∎ Participate to formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, family and community level.

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
