Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Social Sciences / Public Health/ Statistics/ Information management with experience in research related field.
∎ Advanced training in data management, statistical applications (SPSS, STATA), and/or Microsoft Excel and related programs (Word, PPTs) will be a plus.

Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: Until15 April 2022

∎ Contract type - Fixed Term
∎ The successful candidate will be a part of the HEARD research team to enter, clean and update the research data into a computer system database, and conduct descriptive data analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Program data entry/computerized and data cleaning
∎ Participate to the elaboration of the process for the collection of data with the research teams;
∎ Participate to the weekly or bimonthly team meeting as well as the training;
∎ Regularly collect research data from the research team in the field;
∎ Entry/computerized data in the computerized program created for the purpose and use of the research on a daily basis on the different research activities;
∎ Regularly clean data to check for ambiguity or inconsistencies;
∎ Inform/report to the program manager if any ambiguity on data and problems that needed to be addressed.
∎ Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.
∎ Mission 2: Ensure ethical procedures in the management of data
∎ Ensure the confidentiality of data
∎ Ensure safety of data storage both electronically and on paper
∎ Maintain a log book or tracking sheet in each steps of the data cleaning process
∎ Mission 3: Synthesize the data collected from the research team to the database
∎ Computerize every week the data collected by the research team in the field
∎ Identifying necessary software and hardware needs
∎ Keep data updated and synthesize the data from the database every month or as often as needed for the reporting;
∎ Ensure the safety of the data every day
∎ Organize regular check of the quality and validity of the data
∎ Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
∎ Produce a report every month regarding the collected data and submit to the research manager;
∎ Strictly respect the confidentiality of data, being the property of the project’s beneficiaries and ACF.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
∎ Good knowledge on data cleaning and ability to spot ambiguity
∎ Organization skills and commitment to confidentiality procedures are necessary.
∎ Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communications skills in both written and spoken English
∎ Knowledge of informatics: MS Word, MS Excel and other data collection and analysing tools
Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ Group Life insurance and Group Personal Accidental Insurance
∎ Maternity Benefit: 3 (three) basic salary.
