Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Clinical/Counseling/General Psychology with at least one-year experience in clinic/ hospital at psychotherapy unit.

∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1:
∎ Answer to the identified needs by providing direct psychological support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the rights of the beneficiary
∎ Answer to internal and referred beneficiaries for further psychological assessment through interview, observation and/or assessment scales; and external referrals.
∎ Identify Psychological, emotional and behavioral difficulties; diagnose; develop action plan and provide psychological and psychosocial support at individual, group and family level.
∎ Refer beneficiaries with specific needs of specialized psychological support to external services and follow-up on all referrals, in coordination with your line manager, following the appropriate strategy of the project.
∎ Visit and discuss with beneficiaries before referring and ensuring mediation if needed with other stakeholders.
∎ Participate to mediation between beneficiaries and families or between families and other structures.
∎ Organize and implement more specific psychosocial support activities through different methods including mediation activities, creative or recreational activities, group discussions, group daily activities, etc...
∎ Participate to the discussions and decision-making in the frame of case management meetings.
∎ Write specific reports for critical cases.
∎ Write technical advices on referral forms to send to partners.
∎ Objective 2:
∎ Participate in the implementation of the MH&CP project
∎ Ensure the psychological and psycho-social follow-up of the beneficiaries ;
∎ Guarantee the follow-up of defined objectives ;
∎ Organize and conduct training on MHPSS
∎ Contribute to the mapping of relevant actors (referral network) and set up of referral systems to other services available
∎ Objective 3: To conduct specific psychosocial group activities (adapted and appropriate to each one's specific needs and capacities
∎ Conduct discussion groups with individuals, families and communities, neighbours.
∎ Conduct support groups with particular such as disabled, isolated/discriminated people, etc.
∎ When needed/possible, work with the partners and volunteers to create and implement psycho-social activities in the centres and at community level
∎ Ensure a qualitative follow up of the beneficiaries participating to group activities.
∎ Reporting of activities and evolution of the beneficiaries' psychosocial situation.
∎ Objective 4: To produce regular reports on activities, assessments, follow-up and other related documents to ensure the quality and reporting of the project
∎ Reports on a weekly basis about activities planned and implemented.
∎ Analyses and reports on beneficiaries' psychosocial status.
∎ Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, follow up form, group activity reporting tool, discharge form which includes the final assessment of the beneficiary's psychosocial status) and system in place.
∎ Any other reports to be made upon line manager's request.
∎ In formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, family and community level.
∎ Objective 5: Develop work in multidisciplinary teams
∎ Work in close collaboration with the medical, nutrition, food security and water and sanitation departments ;
∎ Exchange information concerning the projects;
∎ Participate in a weekly meeting with other MHCP supervisors to address common issues and discuss and agree on action plans for specific cases;
∎ Objective 6: Respect a strict confidentiality Tasks:
∎ Assist in research on MHCP and strictly respect the confidentiality of data, being the property of the project's beneficiaries and ACF ;
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the content of clinical interviews, except when exchanging information with other team members to draw joint action plans in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
∎ Objective 7: Proactively support Action Against Hunger's commitments to gender equality,
∎ child protection and disability sensitivity Tasks:
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of Action Against Hunger's Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

∎ Good knowledge of child and/or adult development
∎ Good command of at least one psychotherapeutic approach
∎ Training and case management aptitudes
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian MHPSS- English and local languages-Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situation.

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year.
∎ Provident Fund - 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Performance Bonus - from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performance.
∎ End of Contract Benefits - As per policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ Leaves:
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
∎ 10 days of paid casual leaves per year.
