Experience:
Master’s degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Humanitarian Studies, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or other relevant subject areas. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and significant professional experience in program management, monitoring, and the provision of services related to violence against women and protection in development contexts will also be considered.
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, coordination, and field-level program management, preferably in psychosocial support (PSS), violence against women (VAW), protection, gender, or related development and humanitarian programming.
Practical experience in implementing programs related to women’s and girls’ protection, gender-based violence prevention and response, psychosocial support, and/or community-based protection in development or humanitarian contexts.
Experience in coordinating and implementing project activities with diverse stakeholders, including community members, service providers, local authorities, and partner organizations.
Experience in planning, organizing, and facilitating training sessions, workshops, group discussions, and awareness-raising activities for different stakeholders.
Practical experience in community mobilization, group facilitation, and participant engagement.
Experience in activity planning, monitoring progress against targets, data collection, documentation, and report writing.
Ability to work closely with Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) teams to support data quality, validation, and reporting processes.
Good understanding of gender equality, women’s empowerment, safeguarding, protection principles, and accountability to affected populations.
Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken Bangla and English.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Scope of Work:
The Oporajita Phase II project aims to support women to drive transformative change in addressing violence against women and climate resilience, while strengthening the responsiveness of factories and communities toward non-discrimination and climate adaptation. Funded by the H&M Foundation, the project is implemented from March 2025 to December 2027 in Savar, Narayanganj, and Gazipur Upazilas. Four Women Friendly Spaces (WFS) serve as key platforms for community-level activities with women garment workers and women from surrounding communities. At the factory level, the project also works closely with factory management to promote an enabling, safe, inclusive, and climate-resilient working environment for women workers. The position will coordinate and supervise the implementation of WFS activities across the project locations, ensuring timely, quality, and effective delivery. The position will provide technical and operational guidance to WFS Field Facilitators, regularly monitor field activities, and coordinate with factory management, community stakeholders, and the Technical Officer – Business & Market. The position will also support the Project Manager in planning, implementation, monitoring, and achieving the overall project results. The role requires frequent field movement across Savar, Narayanganj, and Gazipur.
II. Responsibilities and Tasks: % of Time
Responsibility # 1: Strengthen the Quality and Effectiveness of Women-Friendly Space (WFS) Activities - 40%
Collect, compile, review, and analyze monthly database reports from all four Women-Friendly Space (WFS) centers to monitor implementation progress and performance.
Review monthly work plans submitted by the WFS Facilitators and provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with project objectives and quality standards.
Support WFS Facilitators in developing and finalizing activity implementation plans.
Conduct regular monitoring visits to WFS centers to assess the quality of session delivery, participant engagement, documentation, safeguarding practices, and overall implementation.
Prepare monitoring visit reports highlighting achievements, gaps, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
Share monitoring findings with the Project Manager (PM) and facilitate discussions to identify corrective actions and continuous quality improvement strategies.
Regularly follow up on participant records, attendance registers, referral documentation, case files, session reports, and database updates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Responsibility # 2: Ensure the Quality of Community-Based Interventions - 30%
Conduct regular and random monitoring visits to community-based interventions, including Women's Friendly Space (WFS) sessions, Men's Engagement Sessions, Intergroup Dialogue Sessions, Social Change Agent (SCA) sessions, and other community awareness activities.
Monitor attendance, facilitator performance, session quality, participant engagement, reporting, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with project standards.
Provide technical support to WFS Facilitators in conducting needs assessments and selecting eligible participants for Entrepreneurship and Business Development Training.
Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Entrepreneurship and Business Development Training.
Conduct post-training follow-up with participants to monitor business initiation, identify
challenges, and assess progress toward sustainable livelihoods.
Facilitate market linkage opportunities and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to strengthen participants' access to business support services.
Identify implementation challenges through field monitoring, document key findings, and share recommendations with the project team for timely action and continuous improvement.
Prepare comprehensive monitoring reports capturing achievements, implementation gaps, lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations to enhance program quality.
Responsibility # 3: Documentation, Monitoring and Reporting & Coordination, Representation & Network Development - 20%
Documents PSS activities, coordination meetings, and other project-related activities in a timely and systematic manner.
Maintains accurate records of work while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organizational data protection standards.
Works closely with the MEL team to ensure timely data entry into the relevant system and supports data verification and validation processes.
Supports regular monitoring of project activities and collects feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders to inform adaptive project implementation.
Coordinates with the Project Team and MEL team to monitor progress against project targets and indicators.
Develop activity work plans and prepares weekly, monthly, and periodic progress reports.
Supports the documentation of key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations from project implementation. Provides regular updates and periodic activity reports to the Program Manager.
Responsibility # 4: Ensure Timely and Accountable Distribution of Dignity Kits and Session Refreshments - 5%
Coordinate with WFS Facilitators to ensure the timely, transparent, and appropriate distribution of dignity kits to eligible participants.
Monitor the distribution process to ensure compliance with project guidelines, safeguarding principles, and accountability standards.
Verify beneficiary lists, distribution records, stock registers, acknowledgement forms, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting of dignity kit distribution and promptly address any discrepancies or implementation issues.
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on distribution progress, challenges, and recommended corrective actions.
General Responsibilities on Safety and Security, and Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults - 5%
