Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in any subject (social science, environmental science, development studies, urban and regional planning or equivalent will get preference).

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide direct supervision of the implementation of project activities to ensure that deadlines are met, and activities produce quality outputs as per BASA Foundation and donor's operational/implementation guideline.
∎ Review the project proposal, budget, targets, key performance indicators and ensure that the planning is realistic (Measurable, Reportable & Verifiable), both in terms of budget and implementation.
∎ Responsible for fund management, fund disbursement, follow-up and monitoring of expenditure with project activities and meet with internal and external audit/ monitoring visitors' team.
∎ Have regular interactions with the concerned department of the City Corporation /utility members and update them about the programme.
∎ Ensure that all bills are collected according to the guideline of organization following govt. compliance (VAT and Tax) afterwards arrangement monthly expenditure and submit to the accounts officer.
∎ Facilitate the city authority to develop and implement a City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) plan in line with a city sanitation master plan (including SWM and FSM) for the city.
∎ Regularly review & track the project progress against milestones and take corrective action where required, raising issues with the concern personnel as needed.
∎ Guide and lead the project team to achieve specific goals, objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the project.
∎ Manage and oversee day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals of the project team members
∎ Prepare programme progress reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) and other reports based on a structured M&E framework and review financial report and provide necessary feedback.
∎ Ensure effective cooperation with municipality, DAE & Health and education department and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure capacity building of local entrepreneurs on business planning, demand creation, marketing, record keeping and product innovation and development.
∎ Assist with donor visits, provides services of a guide during donor visits and events
∎ Support effective communications and joint working within the team and with other teams across the organization.
∎ Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Excellent knowledge of WASH related activities with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in NGOs/development sector.
∎ Experience of working in project budget and accounts.
∎ Excellent knowledge and use of the internet, Microsoft packages and other skills.
∎ Excellent written and oral English language skills.
∎ Structured well organized and self-driven.
∎ Excellent communication cooperation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Person of good character and integrity, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as coordinator of a team.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Depend on the experience. Income Tax will be deducted from the Salary.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Travel allowance and mobile allowance as per project budget.
