Required Qualifications
At least 7 years (included 5 years managerial experience) of progressively responsible experience in project management, preferably with NGOs, development organizations, labour rights or trade union programmers.
Demonstrated experience in project planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation.
Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation and team management skills.
Experience in working with donor-funded projects and preparing donor reports.
Excellent command of English and Bangla, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in necessary computer literacy.

About WRC
Workers Resource Centre (WRC) is a national resource institution led by a trusty board constituted of joint platform of workers federation at national and sectoral level, established to strengthen the capacity of trade unions and support to establish harmonious industrial relations. WRC promotes workers` rights, social dialogue, organizational development, leadership, collective bargaining, labour dispute resolution, legal support, gender equality, research, advocacy, and institutional strengthening through collaboration with national and international partners like ILO and other donor agencies.
Position Summary
WRC invites applications from qualified, dynamic and experienced professionals for the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager will provide overall leadership, management and technical oversight to WRC projects aimed at strengthening workers` organizations and improving labour rights and industrial relations in Bangladesh.
Major Responsibilities
Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project activities in accordance with approved work plans and donor requirements.
Coordinate capacity-building programs for national workers` centres, trade unions and worker representatives.
Developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Building and maintaining relationships with donors.
Researching and identifying potential funding sources.
Writing grant applications and proposals.
Organizing fundraising events and activities.
Managing fundraising databases and tracking donor information.
Collaborating with WRC-Project Implementation Committee and Sustainability Sub-Committee to promote fundraising efforts.
Preparing reports and presentations on fundraising progress.
Ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices.
Engaging with volunteers and supporters to enhance fundraising efforts.
Coordinating with financial teams to manage donations and funding.
Evaluating the success of fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
Building relationships with corporate partners.
Creating and distributing fundraising materials and communications.
Ensure quality implementation of training, workshops, organizational development and leadership programs.
Develop annual work plans, budgets and project implementation schedules.
Supervise project staff, consultants and field-level personnel.
Maintain effective coordination with constituent workers` organizations, development partners and other stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality narrative and financial progress reports for trusty board and donors.
Monitor project performance, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
Support research, policy advocacy and documentation on labour rights, social dialogue and collective bargaining.
