Education:

Experience
At least 10 years experiences on managing and implementing program and projects in development and humanitarian settings in National or International NGOs.
At least 5 years experiences on serving the Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar Humanitarian Response as a managerial role.
Experiences on working in multisector interventions will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Must have professional proficiency on English Language in Writing and Speaking.
Should have good command over Cox’s Bazar local dialect.
Able to take decision in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task work seamlessly
Good command over latest technologies/tools related to program management, implementation and reporting.

Objective of the position
Program Manager is expected to contribute to the operational management of the programs and projects of PROTTYASHI being implemented in Cox’s Bazar maintaining coordination with operational units at the Cox’s Bazar and Head Office level.
Reporting
Program Manager will be reporting to the Deputy Executive Director maintaining collaboration with other relevant units of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Management
Coordinate all the humanitarian and development projects of the organization in Cox’s Bazar including Rohingya response and host community as a representative of the PROTTYASHI management through maintaining close communication with the project implementation units in all the areas of operation of the organization.
Maintain coordination with different Government and Non-government stakeholders relevant to the project interventions and organizational strategies to ensure best interest of the organization.
Participate in meetings, workshops, events arranged by the different stakeholders/sectors in the humanitarian response and present the outputs of the project before the stakeholders.
Track progress of the project activities and make necessary adjustments regularly.
Ensure timely implementation of the project activities maintaining quality and maximum cost efficiency.
Monitor the project activities through conducting field visits and find out the gaps and challenges in the implementation of the activities.
Provide solutions to the challenges or gaps identified through immediate situation analysis or discussion with the senior management.
Prepare qualitative and quantitative report & documents of the project through observing the field level project interventions.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, annual or other event reports with standard quality.
Organize monthly and quarterly all project coordination meeting to analyze project progress and make plan for the upcoming periods.
Ensure the projects are being managed and reported in alignment with ERP and program management structure.
Fundraising and Program Development
Source funding channel through interpersonal communication with donor organizations and international funding organizations and analyzing funding opportunities available.
Contribute to the program development through planning, designing and preparing project proposal and budget.
Present the organizational mission, vision, strategic objectives and expertise before the donor agencies to make an enthusiastic impression on the organization.
Financial Management and Compliance
Ensure quality financial management of the projects of the organization being implemented in humanitarian response with maximum cost-efficiency.
Ensure compliance in financial and programmatic issues through verifying the documentation and providing necessary guidance to the project implementation unit.
Ensure financial management of the project budget to follow financial and procurement policy.
Conduct financial monitoring of the project on the operational perspective and report to the central program management team whenever necessary.
Staff Capacity Development
Assess the staff capacity of different projects through self-made strategies and share with the senior management.
Plan for staff capacity development for the projects considering the weaknesses and lacking of the staffs and share with senior management.
Implement the plan within anticipated timeframe so that the staffs can utilize their capacity in implementing project interventions within project timeline.
