∎ B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science and/or Engineering. Exceptions can be made in case of long experience in Software project management and development. Good knowledge of Human Resource Management and Accounting will be preferred.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Project Management,PMP
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide leadership and guidance to team members, business analysts and developers.
∎ Ensure that the SDLC and STLC processes are complied with all product development and maintenance.
∎ Ensure that documentation of all products are up-to-date at all times (e.g., business analysis reports, design documentation, user manuals, "Help" and "Technical Manuals") and are of sufficient standards.
∎ Lead project planning meetings, strategize project approach, resource requirement as per requirements and accordingly prepare testing, data conversion, training and implementation plans and ensure their timely accomplishment.
∎ Review the allocation of tasks to team members, and monitor and evaluate them regularly. Take appropriate actions if any deviation outside tolerance set in project plans are observed.
∎ Report progress periodically as per procedures followed in Southtech.
∎ Require business analysts to carry out research of similar products developed by other software houses in the world with a view to improving our own products.
∎ Be proactive in the selection of new technologies keeping in mind the effectiveness to their application in 'adding value' to Southtech's product lines.
∎ Provide necessary support to team members creating a good team spirit.
∎ Ensure preparation of team plans, which are realistic and attainable.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent understanding of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project), CRM, Design tools, deep knowledge of design architectures, databases, and programming tools.
∎ Excellent inter-personal skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
∎ Excellent presentation skills
∎ Negotiation skills
∎ Prioritization skills
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Remuneration and benefits package including competitive salary.
∎ Two bonuses per year (per bonuses will be equal one month's basic salary).
∎ Regular working hour: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
∎ 15 Days Annual Leave, 10 Days Casual Leave and 14 days Sick Leave per year.
