Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with a disability. CDD is simultaneously educating the development stakeholders & community on how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation & other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ CDD Office is now accepting applications for Project Manager under "Strengthening Resilience in South and South-East Asia by Integrating Risk Management, Social Inclusion and Socio-Economic Development", funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development, Republic of Germany (BMZ). Project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide management support to the project team to implement the project interventions maintaining a high quality of work.
∎ Supervise the work of relevant staff as per authority (including the development of Key Performance Objectives, clear work plans, support visits and meetings).
∎ Support to project teams on successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
∎ Support team in development monitoring plan including clear learning opportunities, knowledge products to be captured during the course of the project implementation.
∎ Support CDD's team in putting beneficiary feedback/ accountability mechanism in place, jointly monitor the system in order to allow voices of beneficiaries to be taken into account
∎ Provide strategic support on data gathering and analysis in order to assess program implementation progress, outputs and potential outcomes as well as the development of further activities
∎ Ensure that reporting deadlines are met by the concerned, ensures the quality of and submission of reports
∎ Carry out regular monitoring visits and follow up at the field (30% time at field location)
∎ Support for documentation of project progress and areas of improvement for the project team
∎ Support in the development of future funding proposals as per identified needs and demands
∎ Conducts financial and program management & analysis and produce reports and write-ups on short-notice
∎ Ensure safeguarding of women, children and Adult-most-at-risk
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
