Technical & Functional Competencies:

  • Project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking

  • SLA, KPI, and deliverables management as per customer contracts

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead overall planning, coordination, and control of MRT Line-6 project activities to meet scope, time, cost, and quality targets

  • Act as the primary focal point between DMTCL, contractors, consultants, JICA, and other key stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with contract provisions, technical specifications, and approved drawings

  • Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules and milestones

  • Identify project risks, manage issues, and implement mitigation measures

  • Review and approve work programs, method statements, and execution plans

  • Oversee QA/QC in construction, testing, and commissioning activities

  • Ensure strict compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) standards
     Control project budget, manage cost variations, and certify contractors’ interim payment claims

  • Review variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and support dispute resolution
     Coordinate land acquisition, utility relocation, and interface matters with government agencies

  • Supervise testing, trial runs, commissioning, and final handover of Line-6 infrastructure
     Prepare and submit progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation to DMTCL management

  • Support capacity building and knowledge transfer to DMTCL staff

  • Ensure successful project close-out, defect liability management, and final acceptance of works
