Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Operational implementation
∎ Responsibility 1: Contribute to project planning and implementation in line with the existing frameworks
∎ Contribute to planning and preparing activities, tools, and the associated resources, and implement the action plan in conjunction with the support services and the technical unit.
∎ Ensure that activities are implemented and that resources are correctly allocated as per Project Documents.
∎ Ensure regular reporting of activities, and contribute to the internal and external reporting.
∎ Contribute to identifying areas of the project in which adjustments are required and put forward adaptations to AVAS Management and HI.
∎ Coordination with the local stakeholders and to monitoring the partnership relationship with the project partners.
∎ Ensure that project documents and information are correctly archived.
∎ Increase the knowledge humanitarian community regarding people at risk of exclusion, factors of exclusion, and solutions to remove barriers.
∎ Promote the effective consultation (participation) of communities affected by crisis before, during, and beyond humanitarian interventions.
∎ Reduce barriers to access during the design and implementation of humanitarian services.
∎ Support the challenges (barriers) that need to be reduced as well as the good practices (resources) that need to be promoted.
∎ Participated in the different levels of the service offered, including the institutional level, the program, and the service offered: participated to elaborate the framework of the services, policies, planning, resource mobilization, knowledge, skills, and attitudes of teams, operational tools, and guidelines.
∎ Responsibility 2: Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning
∎ Contribute to project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and the expected outcomes.
∎ Contribute to project evaluations when require, and ensure that project evaluation recommendations are followed.
∎ Contribute to the setup and smooth running of accountability mechanisms.
∎ Document project learning.
∎ Responsibility 3: Ensure project data management
∎ Ensure that the appropriate data collection and management tools are used correctly on the project.
∎ Ensure collecting and compiling project-related data in the relevant database.
∎ Responsibility 4: Contribute to the coordination of project teams
∎ HR management.
∎ Facilitate coordination meetings between the project teams.
∎ Ensure that the project teams work well together in order to facilitate the implementation of the project.
∎ Responsibility 5: Contribute other area
∎ Establish and function a CRM process in the project area.
∎ Ensure safeguarding mechanism in staff and community level.
∎ Communicate about the project to partners, authorities, and stakeholders when relevant.
∎ Mission 2: Emergency Preparedness and Response
∎ Contribute to the programme's emergency preparedness initiatives, and in an emergency situation, adapt his/her working arrangements in order to contribute to an effective humanitarian response.
∎ Implement all disaster preparedness activities as per project plan such as vulnerability and capacity assessment, contingency plan, stakeholder or stock mapping, meeting and validation with DMC at Upazila and district level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ At least 5 years' experience working on project management and program development, preferably in development and humanitarian contexts.
∎ Have sound knowledge on disaster management and implement relevant projects
∎ Own laptop and own bike with valid driving license is preferable.
∎ Experience and comprehensive understanding of disability issues, awareness-raising, and training implementation and reporting
∎ Experience working in a remote community setting is an advantage
∎ Proven analytical and planning skills
∎ Knowledge of disability and development issues in Bangladesh
∎ Have the capacity to maintain close relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients
∎ Experience in contributing to data collection and indicator tracking within development projects or programs
∎ Computer knowledge (MS Office package- both in English and Bangla)
∎ Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Bengali and English
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural team environment
∎ Availability to travel to remote areas and spend time at the field level
∎ Strong teamwork approach
∎ Knowledge on Humanitarian Principals and standards.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 65000 - 75000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary will be determined based on experience, qualification and budget availability.
Festival bonus will be paid prorate based according to the project allocation and AVAS Policy.
