Job Context:
∎ Duration: 31 March 2022
∎ Start Date: 1 October 2021
∎ Contract Type: Fixed Term
∎ The successful candidate will be responsible for quantitative data collection.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data collection: interview target people and complete the questionnaires of the study:
∎ Explain to caregivers the purpose and process of the research project
∎ Observe and collect information of participants in terms of mental health and nutritional status from the psychosocial workers and nutrition enumerators.
∎ Liase with psychosocial worker and nutrition team to select target people for interview
∎ Interview participants in local language and complete questionnaires legibly
∎ Attend training on research ethics and quantitative approach to data collection.
∎ Conduct pre-testing and interviews comitting to ethical and confidentiality procedures, including blindness regarding research treatments and collect data properly
∎ Conduct data collection using electronic devices throught KOBO.
∎ Report regularly on the status of data collection in the field:
∎ Commit to the planned working schedule.
∎ Develop initiatives for good organization of data collection.
∎ Report regularly to the data manager, in particular if difficulties arise on the ground (bad data collection, difficulties in maintaining the calendar, etc.)
∎ Work in collaboration with the data manager to ensure that the data are well entered and compiled
∎ Inform in case of difficulties regarding the testing procedure
∎ Regularly communicate and report to the research manager regarding any issues, challenges difficulties and necessary updates from the field.
∎ Organize adequate timing and meetings for data collection with the targe groupd.
∎ Ensure good collaboration with facilities regarding the time and place for the data collection.
∎ Attend weekly team meeting and update the progress
∎ Support to the data entry and management
∎ Provide significant support to the Data manager, including ongoing verification of data entered during the data entry process
∎ Ensure that the collected data is properly managed and stored maintaining confidentiality
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluency in Bengali and Chittagonian dialect
∎ Knowledge of data collection tools: KOBO, MS Excell
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary: Tk. 36574 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ Group Life insurance and Group Personal Accidental Insurance
∎ Maternity Benefit: 3 (three) basic salary.
∎ Birth Allowance, Marriage Allowance, etc.
