Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare work plan and take initiatives for implementing activities according to that plan.
∎ Create awareness of the students and community people about COVID-19, vaccine uptake, etc.
∎ Create awareness of the students and community people about using of safe water, hygienic latrine and practice of safe hygienic behavior.
∎ Supervise O&M of handwashing stations provided in HBCC1.
∎ Conduct hygiene education session in healthcare facilities, secondary school and madrasah regularly.
∎ Organize training, meeting, advocacy workshop and different forums at upazila level.
∎ Maintain liaison with local administration, local government and non-government officials at upazila level.
∎ Distribution soaps and other cleaning materials to the community people
∎ Prepare monthly report and sent to respective supervisor.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 year experience in WASH is preferred
∎ Knowledge on development and WASH Sector
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Report preparing, coordination and communication skills
∎ Motivation, Community mobilisation skills
