∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing PVAW initiatives in collaboration with other programmes and departments of BRAC. Primarily this will involve managing and overseeing the impementation of the AR NA Pilot Project as part of which frontline staff belonging to various BRAC Programmes in BRAC branches in Rangpur and Satkhira have been trained to digitally report incidents of violence against women in their communities using a web app, based on which a team of case managers work to connect the survivors with required support services through referral.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating and supervising overall nationwide PVAW initiatives, including AR NA Pilot Project
∎ Working closely with all other programmes/ entities of BRAC for successful implementation of PVAW initiative, including AR NA Pilot Project, with programme management and team for effective collaboration
∎ Prepare annual work plans and corresponding budgets relating to the PVAW Initiative, including AR NA Pilot Project, and revise where necessary
∎ Oversee and ensure coordination between case managers involved in VAWG response and establish robust communication and coordination with colleagues of concerned BRAC Programmes and 50 BRAC Branches where AR NA Pilot Project is being implemented
∎ Plan and develop IEC materials and national campaigns on the prevention of VAWG, strategy plans and training manuals with counterparts, ensuring the involvement of all major stakeholders in the development of such tasks
∎ Create evidence for national and local level Advocacy and networking and knowledge management system
∎ Ensure proper use of AR NA Web Apps developed for VAWG incident reporting
∎ Ensure the process of dialogue and negotiation for establishing connectivity of M&E result tracking and reporting mechanism of PVAW Initiative, including AR NA Pilot Project
∎ Prepare reports on programme activities related consistent with the priorities established in the work plan
∎ Identify emerging issues for the implementation of field level initiatives and share with relevant forums
∎ Effective budget preparation, periodic analysis and review of budget expenditure and ensure efficient budget management in compliance with financial policies and procedures
∎ Coordination with relevant programmes and units for result tracking, quality monitoring, knowledge capturing and progress reporting
∎ Provide support to the Regional coordinators to achieve expected outcome of PVAW initiatives, including AR NA Pilot Project
∎ Coordinate, develop and maintain key professional networks, relationships with local partners, governments and NGO's service providers to strengthen support services for the VAWG survivors
∎ Actively engage in prevention work at national and local level

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent understanding of the conceptual and practical issues relating to VAWG reporting, response and referral
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to successfully manage complex and sensitive organizational relationships to achieve cross-organizational, collectively agreed goals
∎ Advanced understanding of Project Management and excellent reporting and presentation skills on project progress and learnings
∎ Competencies on Gender analysis of programs, materials and policies
∎ Excellent management skills in a team oriented environment, quick problem solving and decision making and ability to work in high stress environments
∎ Have Budget preparation and expenditure tracking skills
∎ Have strong interpersonal skills
∎ Have written and oral communication and facilitation skills
∎ Strong linkage and networking with forums/influential actors
∎ At least 7 years of working experience in relevant field.
