Additional Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience in project coordination/management in development, resilience, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response, or social protection programmes.
Experience in working with WFP-funded or donor-funded projects will be considered an advantage.
Proven experience in staff supervision, stakeholder coordination, and report writing.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to prepare reports, work plans, and maintain project documentation.
Excellent capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
Age Maximum 45 years (may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates)
Responsibilities & Context: Job Context: National Development Programme (NDP) is going to implement the Resilience Innovation Programme (RIP), funded by the World Food Programme (WFP), aimed at strengthening community resilience and ensuring effective support for shock-affected populations. NDP is inviting applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the position of Program Coordinator under this project. Appointment will be subject to donor approval.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Lead overall planning, implementation, and coordination of all project activities.
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans and ensure timely execution.
- Provide technical guidance to Upazila teams and ensure quality standards across all components.
- Maintain communication with donors, government departments, and key stakeholders.
- Review field progress reports, monitoring data, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Organize project inception, quarterly review, and learning-sharing meetings.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organizational policies, and safeguarding standards.
- Oversee budget expenditure, monitor financial burn rate, and support finance staff in reporting.
- Prepare high-quality progress reports, case studies, and documentation for donor submission.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities, identify gaps, and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate baseline, midline, endline assessments in collaboration with the M&E team.
- Facilitate capacity-building training for field staff and partners.
- Ensure risk management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving support to field teams.
- Represent the project in coordination meetings at district and national levels.
- Support external audits, evaluations, and donor missions.
