• 3 - 5 years of experience in capsule production operations/capsule printing operations/ capsule packaging operations preferably in a production environment or machine room environment.

Through continuous efforts in production engineering, ingredient, and formulation expertise we aim to be a trusted partner in innovative capsules and dosage form solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies. To support this goal and strengthen the existing team we are looking for ambitious, results-driven, and committed individuals for the following position.

Job Description

Capsule Printing

• Set up and operate capsule printing machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Ensure correct alignment and orientation of capsules for accurate printing.

• Feed empty into the machine hopper and monitor feeding process.

• Select and load printing ink as per batch requirements, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency.

• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure proper legibility, position, and color of prints.

• Record production data, including batch number/ quantity produced, and any deviations.

• Clean and sanitize the machine parts before and after each batch to maintain hygiene standards (as per GMP).

• Troubleshoot printing errors or machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.

• Follow all safety and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines during operation.

• Coordinate with QA/QC and maintenance teams for inspections, validations, and repairs as needed.

Capsule Packaging

• Supervise and manage day-to-day packaging operations to achieve production targets and schedules.

• Ensure the proper operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of all packaging equipment.

• Monitor the utilization of packaging materials and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess.

• Implement and strictly enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct line clearance, in-process quality checks, and ensure adherence to product quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to maintain a smooth and continuous workflow.

• Train, guide, and monitor packaging personnel to enhance operational efficiency, teamwork, and compliance.

• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of all documentation, including Batch Packaging Records (BPR), in line with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and submit daily production reports, highlighting performance metrics, operational issues, and deviations.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic working environment in the packaging area.
