Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Having an MBA degree will be an added advantage
∎ Skills Required: Fashion Design, Product Development

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for processing product development related orders independently
∎ To deal with the Senior Buyers independently in fluent English for all the merchandising activities including marketing, sales, instant price quotation, negotiation and sourcing
∎ Clarify all necessary info with buyer as much as possible
∎ Develop Fabric/ Trims/ Accessories as per customer's requirement and quality standard
∎ Develop and Implement the Strategic plan for the Product
∎ Liaison with buyers & suppliers to follow up the product development, sourcing & sampling. Handle all quotations, emails & documentations with suppliers & buyers
∎ Develop a good team under his/her guidance
∎ Ensure the right fabric quality, color, trims and construction detail are followed by factory to achieve the correct samples
∎ Keep sharp eye on current fashion trend to update own development range for buyer and market expansion on fabric/embellishment/styling/wash/dry/process
∎ To arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production.
∎ Keep liaison with Buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning
∎ To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties with a view to ensure timely execution and shipments of order
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
∎ Follow the developments/sampling in such a way so that given garment price and submission date can be achieved
∎ Must be able to undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
∎ Work with Sample Section & Design team for developing business.
