Job Context:
∎ Tekarsh Bangladesh Ltd is looking for Principal Software Engineer to join our small dynamic team where you will be expected to solve complex engineering problems that will have both short and long term impact on restaurant businesses in the US. You will have an opportunity to participate in the re-engineering of our entire pipeline of services leveraging your past experience and using tools and technologies.
∎ This role demands a seasoned backend or full-stack Software Engineer who not only can coordinate across teams but also can lead the team by example through contributing on an individual level. As a Principal Software Engineer you will play an integral role in planning and delivering quality features for ensuring a great customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with our engineering team to tackle a wide variety of technical challenges in building efficient and scalable software, delivering quality features for ensuring a great customer experience
∎ Lead, inspire, and influence current team to embrace modern engineering practices that enable frequent release of high-quality services
∎ Understand and support the current architecture
∎ Collaborate across teams with other Principal Software Engineers and Architects for shaping the current architecture so that it meets new technical requirements and needs of our partner teams
∎ Own both the operational and directional aspects for your team

∎ Experienced:
∎ You have 8+ years of industry experience in building scalable web applications using modern object oriented programming.
∎ You have led complex projects from start to end, including conceptualization, product integration and deployment.
∎ You have driven architectural change in your organization by achieving tangible, data-driven improvements.
∎ You have Strong grasp of object oriented fundamentals, data structures, RESTful API design, and modern full stack architecture patterns.
∎ Technical:
∎ Our tech stack is constantly evolving but currently you have to work with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, NodeJS and React/AngularJS.
∎ Our platform is 100% cloud based (AWS) and our architecture spans a variety of AWS services including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, RDS Postgres, DynamoDB, CloudFormation and more!
∎ You have designed and built world class web services that are not only robust and efficient, but also easy to maintain and monitor.
∎ Prior experience in building and operating systems on public clouds can come handy for us.
∎ Proactive:
∎ You have a knack for anticipating problems and are self-motivated to venture beyond the obvious.
∎ You actively look for ways to automate and simplify complex processes, take pride in being thorough and detail-oriented, and function well in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Courageous Communicator:
∎ You have experience in effectively advising senior stakeholders on the technical scope and feasibility of complex product requirements.
∎ You are skilled at explaining technically complex concepts and design to all levels within an organization.
