Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in CSE/EEE/Applied Physics or related subject area from a reputed University.
∎ Certification in RHCE, HP-CSA, and Solaris is strongly preferred.
∎ Training/Certification in EMC/HP SAN Storage Administration will get added advantage

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate System/SAN/Backup Administration and monitor daily to ensure service is running optimally within its capacity limit.
∎ Coordinates with IT team and cross-functional departments in order to understand and meet their requirements on time
∎ Define/decide IT Platform road-map based on stakeholders' needs, technology, trend & business requirements
∎ Plan and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans to make certain network capacity and plans meet existing and future requirements.
∎ Ensure capacity planning upgrades and optimize existing Server, Storage, and Backup of DCs on internal as well as external segments.
∎ Ensure 99.99% service uptime of all platform services, execute all platform-related queries, lead, implement and perform audits on a quarterly basis.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years experience in relevant field. Minimum 1-year experience in Linux/Unix System administration
∎ Required Knowledge & Skills:
∎ Advanced knowledge of Linux & Unix Operating systems (RHEL, Centos, Oracle Linux, Solaris, etc.) and Linux servers in virtualized environments.
∎ Hands-on experience of Operating System Cluster Administration, package management, user administration, process, and memory optimizations.
∎ Sounds knowledge of Ansible automation and RedHat satellite administration.
∎ OS/HW Patching as per patching calendar.
∎ Sound knowledge of networking, routing, and IP subnetting.
∎ In-depth knowledge of SAN Storage, SAN switches, and Backup administration.
∎ Sound knowledge of VMware vSphere platform.
∎ Sound knowledge of Information Security and IT Audit processes.
∎ Thorough knowledge in Information Security concepts and technologies and the ability to mitigate hardening and VAPT.
∎ Sound knowledge in IT Service Management concepts and processes.
∎ Sound knowledge in microservices platforms with hands-on experience.
∎ Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
∎ Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Ntp, sftp, Bind, Apache, MySQL, Nginx, etc.
∎ Sound knowledge in Telecom & Information Technology Governance standard/framework.
∎ Good communication skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving attitude
