• At least 12 years of experience in managerial role of Duplex Coated Board production Plant.

• More than 20 years of experience in paper production plant, out of which 10 years in the leadership role.

Job Responsibilities:   

• Oversee and manage overall quality and production of duplex coated board, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency by implementing improvements in the wet and coating sections.

• Lead to operate and maintain through engineering team machines including the duplex board mill machine, multi fourdrinier, top former paper machine, jumbo press machine, shoe press machine, smoothening machine, IQ steam profiler machine, and combi-blade coater machine to ensure continuous, high-quality paper production.

• Lead the commissioning process by developing comprehensive plans and schedules, conducting thorough system checks, performance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems are operational and aligned with project goals.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to resolve issues such as rope failures, improve production processes, and meet company targets through effective daily production planning and resource optimization.

• Identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction opportunities using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies, leveraging certified Six Sigma expertise, and overseeing maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

• Ensure plant compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and effectively managing waste and emissions to uphold stringent environmental standards.

• Direct, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team through regular performance reviews, ongoing training, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment to achieve operational excellence.

• Manage daily plant operations, coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and optimize processes for efficient production and quality assurance.

• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient production, strict adherence to quality standards, and continuously monitor performance metrics and KPIs for improvement.

• Prepare and submit the Production Output Reports, Production Efficiency Reports, Quality Assurance Reports, Inventory Reports, Safety and Compliance Reports to the Management.
