Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center situated in Dhaka, Ashulia, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services to the general population at a reasonable price. It’s a well-equipped diagnosis service along with a pharmacy setup. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Medical Officer, at Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center, Ashulia.
Job Description:
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing.
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling patients on drug therapies.
Develops hospital staff`s pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs.
Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation, anticipates legislation, and advises management on needed actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage.
Keeping records such as pharmacy files, Daily Medicine sales Record Sheet, patient profiles, inventories, and registries of poisons, narcotics or controlled drugs.
Working with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs
Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs
Maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly
Advising customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies.
