• Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology or Management or any discipline from a recognized university;

• Age At most 45 years

• At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Experience in Hospital Management will be preferable.

• Training or certification related to Maternal and Child care will be an added advantage.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 11 projects. Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center situated in Dhaka, Ashulia, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services to the general population at a reasonable price. It’s a well-equipped diagnosis service along with a pharmacy setup. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Operations Manager-Mother and Child Care at Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center.

Job Responsibility:

• Overall management of the Hospital

• Monitor Activities and supervise the work of Supervisee staff and provide on-site technical assistance (Hands on training)

• Ensure overall cleanliness of the hospital

• Assist/contribute to developing and introducing a QA system for providing quality service to the clients

• Develop and implement a strategy to reach the poor and involve the community in the management of the hospital

• Ensure all other systems are in place and well-functioning e.g. management information, personnel management, logistic management and financial management stc.

• Closely work with the Hospital Manager and other key staff for smooth running the hospital

• Organize monthly management and technical staff meeting to review the progress in reaching the condition and identify potential problems and develop actions for furthers improvements.

• Coordinate with others service providers to established functional linkages and referral system.

• Any other responsibility as designed time to time assigned by the supervisor

• Maintain the rules and regulation of the organization.

• Ensure timely development and submission of periodic reports

• Ensure proper filing of records for the Hospital activities.
