• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Public Administration, or related field.

• Advanced studies in Organisational Development or related subjects preferred.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR or People functions.

• Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, trends, and processes.

• Familiarity with working in culturally diverse or international organisations is an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in Learning and development, staff engagement and wellness initiatives.

A. Purpose

• The People Officer supports the implementation and integration of safeguarding, gender equality, and People & Organisational Development (POD) activities across the project. The role ensures that policies, procedures, and practices related to safeguarding, gender, and HR are effectively applied throughout the project lifecycle.

• Additionally, the position contributes to staff wellness and engagement initiatives, capacity-building efforts, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace. The role upholds UN Entity culture of accountability, well-being, and zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or abuse across the organisation and partner networks.

C. Payment: People Officer will receive monthly gross BDT 65,000/- (flexible for deserving candidates) Festival bonus, provident fund, gratuity, life insurance for self, health insurance for self, spouse and children, cell phone allowances etc. are applicable as per policy provision.
